In celebration of Karan’s 25th anniversary of his directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Shah Rukh Khan, who starred in the film, penned a heartfelt note for the filmmaker alongside the teaser. He wrote, “Wow Karan, 25 years as a filmmaker. You’ve come a long way baby!! Your father and my friend Tom Uncle must be seeing this from heaven and feeling extremely happy and proud.” Shah Rukh also expressed his admiration for Karan’s unique talent for bringing the magic of love to life in his films.
The teaser of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani features Arijit Singh’s melodious voice in the background without any dialogues. However, the teaser still manages to captivate the audience with its flamboyant and charming leads, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The teaser shows the two falling in love and then facing conflict.
Additionally, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra also make appearances in the teaser, along with Churni Ganguly, Tota Roy Choudhury, and Namit Das in important roles. The teaser showcases a grand Durga Puja and ends with the announcement that the film will hit theaters on July 28.

Shah Rukh Khan, who was part of Karan’s debut feature film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), penned a note for the filmmaker alongside the teaser. “Wow Karan, 25 years as a filmmaker. You’ve come a long way baby!! Your father and my friend Tom Uncle must be seeing this from heaven and feeling extremely happy and proud,” the Pathan actor wrote.
“Have always told you to make more and more films because we need the ethereal magic of love brought to life… like only you can do. #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani teaser is looking beautiful. Love you and best wishes to the cast and crew,” he added.
The teaser of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani doesn’t have a single dialogue. Instead, the song Tum Kya Mile plays in the background in Arijit Singh’s voice. The lack of dialogues doesn’t take away from the excitement though. There’s a lot to take in — Ranveer Singh as Rocky and Alia Bhatt as Rani win us over with their flamboyance and charm. The teaser shows the two falling for each other and ends with their eventual conflict.
Jaya Bachchan also features in the teaser. We get a glimpse of Shabana Azmi reading a book, while Dharmendra exudes an effusive charm. There are visuals of a grand Durga Puja, too, in the teaser.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani also features Churni Ganguly, Tota Roy Choudhury and Namit Das in important roles. The film will hit theatres on July 28.
