Rod Stewart poses for rare photo with 7 of his 8 kids
It’s a family gathering.
Sir Rod Stewart was photographed with almost all of his children while on vacation in Spain with his wife, Penny Lancaster.
The English musician, 78, and his third spouse, 52, stood in the middle of seven out of his eight kids for the rare family picture on Saturday.
The couple’s two sons Aiden, 12, and Alastair, 17, joined them, along with Renee, 31, and Liam, 28, whom he shares with his ex-wife Rachel Hunter, 53.
Stewart’s daughter Ruby, 36, from his relationship with model Kelly Emberg, 64, was also present for the photo, along with Kimberly, 43, and Sean, 42, whom he shares with his ex-wife Alana Stewart, 78.
The Stewart family photo also included his three grandchildren: Kimberly’s daughter Delilah, 11, from her relationship with Benicio Del Toro, 56, was there, along with the two newest additions to the family: Louie and Otis.
Ruby gave birth to Otis Stewart Kalick with her fiancé Jake Kalic on May 9, just three days before her half-brother Liam and his girlfriend Nicole Ann welcomed their son Louie.
While Rod posted the joyful picture without a caption, Lancaster shared the same image, writing, “Celebrating being together #family #weddings #engagement #babies 💕💕.”
Noticeably absent was Rod’s eldest daughter Sarah Streeter, 59, whom he put up for adoption as a baby.
The “Maggie May” singer was just 18 when he had her with then-girlfriend Susannah Boffey.
However, Streeter has since developed a closer relationship with her biological father, reaching out to him after her adoptive parents passed away.
The Grammy winner previously explained that he approaches fatherhood differently with each child due to their varying ages spanning five decades.

“You really have to treat all of them as individuals with individual problems. All the [older] kids went through their little bad period of drinking too much and dabbling in drugs — except for Liam; I don’t think he ever did — but they all came out on the other side. As a dad, I’ve learned to listen and not blow my top.”
He noted that “seeing all my kids and my wife with big smiles on their faces” is what “makes me happiest.”
Most recently, a source close to Rod’s family told the Daily Mail that his children would like to see him slow down.
“They are worried about him and want him to throw in the towel on music and retire on his own terms,” the family friend claimed.
“Their dad has devoted 50 years of his life to music and he has nothing left to prove to anyone,” the source went on.
“With his health issues, and considering his age, several of Rod’s kids just think it is time for him to take a few years to focus on his health and his family – especially after the birth of his third grandbaby.”
The “Young Turks” singer survived a three year battle with prostate cancer in 2019, after beating thyroid cancer in 2000.
