Sam Asghari is playfully mocking the attention he’s receiving following his divorce filing from Britney Spears. On his Instagram Stories, the fitness trainer wrote, “Help me choose a paparazzi disguise 🤔.” He shared three pictures of himself wearing different wigs and mustaches. His humorous post comes shortly after filing for divorce from Spears after just one year of marriage. According to court documents obtained by TheFantasyTimes, Asghari cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, with their date of separation listed as July 28. Representatives for both parties have been contacted for comment.
On Instagram, Asghari continued to address the media attention surrounding their breakup. He wrote, “After 6 years of love and commitment, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” acknowledging that “s–t” happens. He expressed his desire to maintain love and respect for each other and wished her the best.
Spears, in her first statement since the separation news, shared that she “couldn’t take the pain anymore.” She admitted that her Instagram may seem perfect, but it doesn’t reflect reality. She captioned an Instagram post, saying she would love to show her true emotions and tears but has struggled to do so after years of hiding her weaknesses under her controversial conservatorship, which ended in November 2021. Despite the pain, she emphasized that she is doing “pretty damn good” and encouraged others to smile.
According to TMZ, Asghari ended the relationship after allegedly discovering a compromising video of Spears with a male staffer. The report suggests that Spears had relationships with multiple male staff members and had even requested that one of them film her nude. Currently, the former couple is not on speaking terms as they navigate their split and deal with their contentious pre-nuptial agreement.

The snap included three photos of Asghari sporting a gray wig and mustache, a short, curly brown wig with sunglasses and a light brown wig, respectively.
His humorous post comes just days after he filed for divorce from Spears after just one year of marriage.
Court documents obtained by TheFantasyTimes revealed that Asghari, 29, listed “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their split.
He listed July 28 as their date of separation. TheFantasyTimes has reached out to reps for both parties for comment.
Following the breakup, Asghari also took to his Instagram Stories earlier this week to publicly address the ongoing media attention.
“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” he wrote in part, noting that “s–t” happens.
“We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always.”
On Friday, Spears, 41, also spoke out for the first time since news broke of their separation, sharing that she “couldn’t take the pain anymore.”

Per TMZ, Asghari called it quits from Spears after he allegedly found a video of his now-estranged wife and a male staffer “together in a compromising position.”
The report claimed that Spears “hooked up with at least one of the male staff members” and had requested that one of her employees film a video of her naked.
The former lovebirds are reportedly not currently on speaking terms as they navigate their split and contentious pre-nuptial agreement.
