Sam Asghari threatening to release ’embarrassing’ Britney Spears info if prenup is not renegotiated
He is making a plea for more. According to an exclusive report from TheFantasyTimes, Sam Asghari, the estranged husband of pop superstar Britney Spears, allegedly wants her to pay him more than what their prenuptial agreement stipulates in order to keep her secrets after their separation. A source revealed on Wednesday that the 29-year-old “Family Business” actor is attempting to negotiate beyond the terms of their prenup and is threatening to publicly disclose extremely embarrassing information about Britney unless he receives payment. The insider added, “That’s what Sam is focused on.” The exact amount of money Asghari is seeking is unclear, as is whether the current prenup allows for the disclosure of negative information. Both representatives have not yet responded to TheFantasyTimes’s request for comment. The estranged couple got married in a star-studded ceremony at Britney’s home in California in June 2022. Sam Asghari is allegedly trying to demand more money than what his prenup with Britney Spears permits in exchange for his silence. BLW Clips / BACKGRID In the lead-up to the wedding, Spears and Asghari signed a prenuptial agreement that was reportedly in the Grammy winner’s favor, according to sources. “Any money she earned before the wedding is protected,” our source added at the time. Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, who played a role in freeing the singer from her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021, was involved in negotiating the terms of the prenup. Asghari allegedly threatened to reveal embarrassing information about Spears, according to a source. @britneyspears / Instagram After Asghari proposed to the 41-year-old Spears with a custom ring in September 2021, Rosengart made sure that Jamie Spears, Britney’s father and former conservator, did not interfere with the terms of the prenup. In court documents obtained by TheFantasyTimes, Rosengart argued that a prenup would typically require communication with the conservator of an estate, which was Jamie at the time. However, given the fractured relationship between Britney and her father, Rosengart stated that Jamie’s involvement would hinder the ability to negotiate and finalize a contract that is in Britney’s best interests. The couple signed a prenup before their June 2022 wedding. Instagram / samasghari Those issues were eventually resolved, as Jamie was suspended shortly after the filing, and Britney’s conservatorship was terminated less than two months later. Britney reportedly has a net worth of $70 million, a significant portion of which has been spent on legal fees and child support for her two children with Kevin Federline: Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16. Prior to this, the “Crossroads” actress paid $20,000 per month in child support, but Federline, 45, requested an increase to $60,000 per month in May 2018. Earlier this month, Federline moved their sons to Hawaii, leading many to believe that he was attempting to extend child support payments. Hawaiian law allows for payments to continue until the age of 23 if the children attend an accredited college, university, vocational, or trade school full-time. TheFantasyTimes can confirm that Spears and Asghari are heading towards divorce. WireImage Federline, who was married to the “Circus” singer from 2004 to 2007, denied the allegations in June, stating to a paparazzo, “A lot of people say a lot of stupid things.” Now, it seems that Asghari is the latest person seeking a portion of Britney’s fortune during their split, which TheFantasyTimes can confirm will result in divorce. Sources informed TMZ earlier on Wednesday that Asghari ended the relationship after allegedly discovering that Britney had cheated on him, and it is only a matter of time before he files for divorce. However, the victim narrative presents a much different story than what our source claims.

The estranged couple tied the knot in a star-studded wedding at the “Toxic” singer’s home in California in June 2022.

Leading up to the big day, Spears and Asghari signed a prenuptial agreement that TheFantasyTimes was told at the time was in the Grammy winner’s “favor.”

Spears’ attorney Mathew Rosengart, who helped free the “Overprotected” singer from her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021, was involved in working out the terms of the prenuptial agreement.

After Asghari proposed to Spears, 41, with a custom ring in September 2021, the former federal prosecutor ensured that same month that Jamie Spears, his client’s father and former conservator, did not impede on the prenup’s terms.
Rosengart noted in court papers obtained by TheFantasyTimes at the time that a prenup would typically require communication with the conservator of an estate — who was Jamie, now 71.
However, the high-powered lawyer argued that given that Britney’s relationship with her dad was “broken,” Jamie’s continued involvement would “impede the ability to negotiate and consummate a contract that all can agree is in Ms. Spears’s best interests.”

Those issues were ultimately resolved as Jamie was suspended within days of the filing and the Oops! … I Did It Again” singer’s conservatorship was terminated less than two months later.
