“I am not attempting to flaunt. We have been blessed with Pathaan. We have been even more blessed with Jawan,” he began.
“We commenced filming on January 26, Republic Day, which is an auspicious day. Then, on Janmashtami – Lord Krishna’s birthday – we released the film (Jawan). And now, on Christmas, we will bring Dunki. I believe in national integration,” quipped Shah Rukh Khan.
The upcoming social comedy drama is helmed by Raj Kumar Hirani and co-written by Kanika Dhillon. Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu take on the lead roles, with Boman Irani portraying a vital character.
Produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Jio Studios, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 22, 2023.

Shah Rukh Khan is set to end the year with a bang with Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. There have been rumours about the film shifting to the next year since Shah Rukh Khan already had Pathan and Jawan in 2023. However, the rumours are not true, and King Khan silenced them in his style.
“I am not trying to show off. God has been very kind in that we have had Pathaan. God has been even kinder with Jawan,” he began.
