Shah Rukh Khan Confirms Dunki Release Date At Jawan Success Press Meet —
The anticipated release date for Dunki is December 22, 2023.
Shah Rukh Khan is poised to conclude the year with a remarkable film by Rajkumar Hirani, titled Dunki. Speculations have circulated regarding Dunki being postponed to the following year due to Shah Rukh Khan’s commitment to Pathan and Jawan in 2023. However, these rumors are unfounded, and the King Khan himself has put them to rest.
“I am not indulging in ostentation. We have been fortunate enough to have Pathaan. We have been even more fortunate with Jawan,” he began.
“We commenced on January 26, Republic Day, which is an auspicious day. Then on Janmashtami, Lord Krishna’s birthday, we released the film Jawan. And now, on Christmas, we will bring Dunki. I believe in national integration,” Shah Rukh Khan quipped.
Dunki is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani and co-written by Kanika Dhillon. The film features Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles, with Boman Irani playing a significant character.
Produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Jio Studios, Dunki is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 22, 2023.
