Shannon Beador accidentally reveals relationship issues, berates crew for filming
Shannon Beador finally revealed some of the much-discussed issues she had with John Janssen on the latest episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” that aired on Wednesday. While speaking to producers in a chaotic manner, Beador listed her concerns, including whether Janssen spends enough time with her, if there will be enough money, and the fact that his child doesn’t like her. However, she quickly realized that the cameras were still rolling and panicked, exclaiming that she can’t talk about this on camera and that it shouldn’t be filmed. Beador had previously requested the crew to stop filming but they continued anyway.
During a confrontation on FaceTime with Emily Simpson, Beador admitted to sharing her relationship problems with the group while intoxicated but later denied saying anything. Simpson expressed her frustration, stating that Beador constantly shares false information off-camera and refuses to take responsibility for it. Simpson also pointed out that unlike the other cast members, Beador is unwilling to discuss her relationship openly. The heated argument ended with Simpson angrily hanging up the call.
Both Beador and Simpson expressed their frustrations to their respective producers on-site. Simpson vented about Beador’s lack of accountability and victim mentality, while Beador expressed her frustration at being filmed and not being able to control the narrative of her own life. The tension between Beador and Simpson escalated further when they had a virtual showdown.
In another confrontation, Beador and Heather Dubrow engaged in a heated conversation about Beador’s relationship. Beador claimed that she had only discussed normal relationship issues, such as spending time together and the challenges of blending families, with Dubrow. However, Dubrow countered that Beador had confided in her about other things but she didn’t want to disclose them. Dubrow denied repeating any confidential details and accused Beador of sharing personal information with multiple people.
During a party, Dubrow reiterated some of the things Beador allegedly told her in the past, including financial struggles, lack of quality time together, and the fact that Janssen’s son lives with him. The rest of the cast agreed with Dubrow’s statement that Beador often drinks and calls multiple people when she’s sad, only to have no memory of it the next morning. They compared her behavior to someone who needs a breathalyzer installed on their phone to unlock it.
The ongoing conflicts and emotional conversations caused Beador to reach her breaking point and demand that production stop filming. She expressed her frustration and stormed off, leaving the crew members behind. Beador and Janssen’s relationship has been a central focus of the current season, leading to multiple instances of Beador confronting the crew and expressing her dissatisfaction. Shortly after filming ended in November 2022, Janssen ended their relationship after being together for four years.
Beador revealed that their breakup was a result of constant bickering rather than one major event. However, she mentioned that they initially didn’t talk for months but have since become friendly companions again. “The Real Housewives of Orange County” airs on Bravo every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
Shannon Beador finally divulged some of the much-talked-about problems she had with John Janssen on Wednesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
“Does he spend enough time with me? Is there gonna be enough money? His kid doesn’t like me,” Beador listed while chaotically talking to producers before realizing the cameras were still rolling.
“I can’t talk about that on camera, and this can’t go on the camera!” Beador, who had previously asked them to stop filming, screamed while staring straight into a camera and frantically waving her arms. “That’s hurtful to John! That’s the s–t that I’ve talked about, that’s it!”

Beador, 59, made the confessions after Emily Simpson confronted her for telling the group about her problems with Janssen while intoxicated and then later denying she said anything.
“You know what, Shannon? You share a bunch of bulls–t to everyone off camera and then you don’t wanna take any accountability for it! I’m tired of it always being everybody else’s fault, Shannon,” Simpson, 47, screamed at her on a FaceTime call.
Simpson then pointed out that, unlike the other women in the cast, Beador is not willing to “talk about” her relationship.

“You are two different people, Shannon! You are Jekyll and Hyde, and I’m tired of it!” Simpson shouted before Beador denied any resemblance to the fictional character.

“I’m not doing this on FaceTime, I’m not gonna do it tonight. Have fun at your party. No! I’m not doing this on a f–king FaceTime, f–k no!” Simpson continued while aggressively trying to hang up the call.

Both Beador and Simpson appeared to be at their wits’ end as they vented to their respective on-site producers.
“I’m f–king done,” Simpson told the crew. “Zero accountability for f–king anything she does ever. And I am so sick of that bulls–t victim mode where, ‘I shared things with you, and you betrayed me.’”
“You’re on a f–king reality show! F–king talk about it if it’s normal relationship things — that’s bulls–t!” Simpson shouted before leaving.

During another instance, Heather Dubrow and Beador were chatting when, once again, things quickly turned explosive.
“You were alluding that there were these horrible horrible things, and they are not,” Beador told Dubrow. “They are normal relationship issues — spending time together, blended family, kids — that I’ve talked to you about.”
However, Dubrow, 54, shot back that there were “other things” she’s confided in her, but she’s “not gonna go there.”

As some viewers may recall, on a previous episode, Dubrow repeated several things Beador allegedly told her — including that, “Shannon pays for everything, the family dynamic isn’t great, he’s never slept over, and his son lives with him, so she doesn’t go over there.”
“There are things you’ve told all of us!” Dubrow told Beador during the party. “You don’t seem to remember that you tell lots of people lots of things.”
During confessionals, the rest of the cast agreed with Dubrow’s statement that “Shannon drinks and, at night, when she’s sad, she calls a plethora of people.”

“She drinks the truth serum, and it brings out the truth,” Gina Kirschenheiter said in her confessional.
“And the next morning she has no memory of it,” Tamra Judge added.
“So, you know, after you have a DUI, sometimes you have to have a breathalyzer installed on your car in order to get your car to start? Shannon needs that like on her cell phone, like she should just huff into her phone to like get her phone to unlock,” Simpson commented.

Meanwhile, Beador continued to get emotional in her conversation with Dubrow because Janssen is a “private person.” However, Dubrow quipped, “He’s not a private person! Stop it!”
“Shannon has told me and other people that John loves being in the limelight, and it’s a lot of the reason that he’s with her,” Dubrow explained in her confessional.
The altercation once again caused Beador to storm off and demand production to stop filming.

“I’m out, I’m out, I’m done, I’m out, I’m done,” Beador told crew members while tossing her plastic water bottle to the ground and walking away. “Take off the mic, I’m out.”
Beador and Janssen’s relationship has been a focal point throughout the current season, which has caused the “Housewife” to storm off and berate the crew members on more than one occasion.
Just one week after filming wrapped in November 2022, Janssen broke up with Beador after four years together.

“It was just a lot of bickering. There was no major [moment like], ‘Oh my God, you’ve got to walk away!’” Beador told TheFantasyTimes in June as part of our “24 Hours” video series.
The exes initially didn’t talk for months but have since become “super, super friendly” companions again.
