Tears Of The Kingdom – All Temple Boss Locations In The Depths

Upon completing the arduous task of defeating all the formidable bosses in the four main temples of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you might feel a sense of relief. Finally, Link won’t have to face them again. However, for those willing to put in the effort, there is an opportunity to encounter the temple bosses once more in a place called The Depths. Each boss can be found in three different locations within The Depths.

These rematch battles not only provide a chance to refine your skills but also offer valuable rewards. Each boss guards a chest containing Huge Crystallized Charges. Defeating them allows you to obtain these charges, which can be used to quickly maximize your Zonai Battery.

Updated by Erin Rice on July 5, 2023: As The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom continues to evolve, players have discovered more information about the Temple Bosses in The Depths and how to make them appear in their respective areas.

Colgera – The Wind Temple
The fight against this boss is similar to the one in the Wind Temple, with the key difference being Colgera’s increased strength. To encounter Colgera, you must first defeat The Wind Temple.

Colgera Location 1
In the northwestern region of The Depths, you will find Colgera. The closest chasm to this area is the Hyrule Ridge Chasm. However, reaching Colgera requires significant traveling. The closest Lightroot to Colgera is the Narusis Lightroot.

Colgera Location 2
This location is in close proximity to the first one, near the Nupisoyuat Lightroot, which corresponds to the Tauyosipun Shrine. The Hyrule Ridge Chasm also serves as the closest chasm.

Colgera Location 3
The final location can be found next to the South Lomei Depths Labyrinth. The Nikohsi Lightroot, corresponding with the Ishokin Shrine, is the nearest Lightroot. The Great Plateau South Chasm is the closest chasm.

The bosses at each location will respawn every Blood Moon, but their rewards can only be obtained once.

Mucktorok – The Water Temple
Similar to Colgera, Mucktorok’s battle is reminiscent of the one in the Water Temple, but with increased strength. Before encountering Mucktorok, you must defeat The Water Temple.

Mucktorok Location 1
Mucktorok can be found near the Abandoned Lanayru Mine. The closest chasm to this area is the South Akkala Plains Chasm. The Uinoj Lightroot is the nearest Lightroot to the boss.

Mucktorok Location 3
The final location of Mucktorok is near the Abandoned Tarrey Town Mine, below Tarrey Town. The Niuzimod Lightroot is the closest Lightroot, although the Akinatanis Lightroot may be easier to use due to its similar elevation to the area. The bosses at each location will respawn every Blood Moon, but their rewards can only be obtained once.

Marbled Gohma – The Fire Temple
Once again, the battle against Marbled Gohma is akin to the one in the Fire Temple, but this time, with increased strength. To encounter Marbled Gohma, you must first defeat The Fire Temple.

Marbled Gohma Location 1
This location is not too far from one of Mucktorok’s locations. The closest chasm to this boss is the Lanayru Wetlands Chasm on Mercay Island. The Uasnoj Lightroot can be used to navigate to the boss.

Marbled Gohma Location 2
This area is a bit of a walk from any Lightroots. It is closest to the Muzasu Lightroot, corresponding with the Usazum Shrine. The Yiga Clan Hideout Chasm is the closest chasm, although it is at a higher elevation.

Marbled Gohma Location 3
This location is extremely close to a chasm, specifically the East Hill Chasm near Kakariko Village. The Takaruk Lightroot, corresponding with the Kurakat Shrine, is the nearest Lightroot. The bosses at each location will respawn every Blood Moon, but their rewards can only be obtained once.

Queen Gibdo – The Lightning Temple
Similar to the other fights, this battle follows the same basic structure as the Lightning Temple, but with increased difficulty. Unfortunately, being underground does not prevent Queen Gibdo from summoning hordes of Gibdo to attack you. You must defeat The Lightning Temple to encounter Queen Gibdo.

Queen Gibdo Location 1
Queen Gibdo is located extremely close to one of the Marbled Gohmas. The East Hill Chasm is the closest chasm for this fight, situated just outside Kakariko Village. The Korakut Lightroot, located directly beneath the Tukarok Shrine, can be used to reach the boss.

Queen Gibdo Location 2
This location is below Washa’s Bluff. The Kawakarut Lightroot corresponds with the Turakawak Shrine and serves as the nearest Lightroot. The Yiga Clan Hideout Chasm is the closest chasm. However, reaching a higher elevation is necessary if using the chasm.

Queen Gibdo Location 3
The final location is close to the previous one and is closest to the Umamustor Lightroot, corresponding with the Rotsumamu Shrine. The Yiga Clan Hideout Chasm is the nearest chasm. Fortunately, this boss is at a lower elevation than the chasm, allowing for easy gliding down to the area. The bosses at each location will respawn every Blood Moon, but their rewards can only be obtained once.
