“The Ladykiller, Mere Husband Ki Biwi & Bhakshak Are Extremely Distinct,” Says Bhumi Pednekar —
Bhumi assures that audiences will be pleasantly surprised to see her explore multiple genres in her upcoming movies. “One can always anticipate the unexpected from me. The Ladykiller, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, Bhakshak, and my future projects are incredibly distinct. Each project is fresh and brings a sense of novelty, allowing me to showcase my talent in the most optimal way.”
Discussing her previous projects, she states, “I am fortunate that, as an actress, I have not been confined to a specific category. I have explored various genres, participated in both commercial and groundbreaking films, and have been blessed to work on projects that strive to bring about social change like Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bala, Badhaai Do, etc.”
She adds, “I am glad that I have been difficult to stereotype because in this industry, that is often the first thing that happens to anyone. I have constantly aimed to break the mold with every film and every role. I embrace disruption. I will always strive for the same. I dislike following a routine. I detest doing similar films and roles. They do not inspire me creatively.
