Tom Sandoval blasts ‘thirsty’ Raquel Leviss for blocking him on Instagram
He is currently blocked and harboring resentment. Tom Sandoval criticized his ex-girlfriend Raquel Leviss for being “thirsty” after she blocked him on Instagram, despite him wishing her a happy birthday. In an interview with “Extra” at the premiere of “Special Forces: The Toughest Test,” the “Vanderpump Rules” star subtly expressed his disapproval, stating, “I personally think it’s a bit desperate and immature, but that’s just who she is.” He added, “Nevertheless, I still want the best for her. I hope she is doing well and finds her happiness.”
Sandoval, 41, had left a comment on Leviss’ recent Instagram Reel, where she was seen enjoying her birthday at a flower farm, saying, “Happy Birthday Rachel, I truly hope you find peace and happiness. Miss you, friend.” However, his goodwill gesture was met with a block from Leviss, who then shared a screenshot of his blocked account and included a GIF that said, “OK bye!”
It is interesting to note that Sandoval’s opinion of his ex has drastically changed since the filming of “Special Forces,” as revealed by his co-star Nick Viall. During the scandal, Sandoval relied on Leviss for support and considered her a source of strength. He expressed this sentiment in his interview with “Extra,” saying, “During that whole ordeal, we didn’t have many people to lean on. We had each other. She was definitely a pillar of support for me, and I believe I was the same for her.”
Leviss, who recently turned 29, has chosen to remain in Arizona after completing her long-term mental health treatment earlier this summer. Despite the apparent falling out between her and Sandoval following their highly publicized affair, Leviss shared with the outlet that she believes she is doing well. Sandoval, who cheated on his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix with Leviss, remained involved with her throughout the fallout. However, they eventually broke up when Leviss decided to seek treatment.
After completing her treatment, Leviss decided to quit the Bravo series. A few months later, in August, she also quit “Vanderpump Rules” while the rest of the cast, including Sandoval, resumed filming for the show’s 11th season. Leviss explained her decision to leave, stating, “I refuse to compromise my self-respect by enduring further emotional abuse. I can’t subject myself to that.” She also cited the lack of equal pay and predicted that she wouldn’t receive a redemption arc or be able to fully share her story as contributing factors to her departure. However, a source close to production clarified that the cast is paid per season, rather than based on their storylines.

Sandoval’s commentary about his ex-flame has changed dramatically since he actually filmed “Special Forces,” when co-star Nick Viall revealed that the cover band crooner brought photos of Leviss to the set.
“During this whole scandal we didn’t have a lot of people. We had each other. She was very much a source of strength,” he told “Extra” of his mindset at the time of filming. “I felt like we both were for each other.”

Despite her and Sandoval’s apparent falling out following their highly publicized affair, the reality star told the outlet that he thinks she’s “doing great.”
Sandoval, who cheated on ex Ariana Madix with Leviss, remained romantically involved with her throughout the Scandoval fallout. However, they finally called it quits while Leviss sought treatment.

She then quit “Vanderpump Rules” a few months later in August while the rest of the cast, including Sandoval, resumed production on the series’ 11th season.
“I refuse to not respect myself on that level where I would endure that emotional abuse any longer. I can’t do that to myself,” the former beauty pageant queen told Bethenny Frankel.
Leviss predicted she “wouldn’t get a redemption arc” and “wouldn’t be able to share all of [her] story,” which contributed to her decision to walk away — as did the lack of equal pay. However, a source close to production tells TheFantasyTimes that the cast is “paid by season — not by storylines.”
