Where Cardi B, Diddy and Taylor Swift partied after VMAs
The festivities didn’t end with the MTV Video Music Awards. Celebrities continued the party in New York City after attending the show at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Cardi B made her way to her VMA afterparty at the Chelsea club Somewhere Nowhere around 2 a.m., where she danced energetically all night long. The event was hosted by Cardi B for her record label, Atlantic Records. According to a witness, she climbed on top of the bar and twerked for nearly an hour to entertain the VIP crowd. Additionally, she served Casamigos and her boozy whipped cream, WhipShots, to partygoers. Her husband, Offset, was present and she even twerked on him. Meanwhile, Quavo, a former member of Migos, partied at the trendy Mulberry club downtown. He arrived with an extensive security detail that caused annoyance among some attendees who were unfamiliar with him. On the other hand, stars like Chris Rock, Jason Momoa, Kate Beckinsale, Dylan Mulvaney, and Olivia Wilde enjoyed the night at the basement bar without any security. Jason Momoa even mingled with the crowd at the entrance. Designer Christian Siriano and his boyfriend Kyle Smith danced with Mulvaney while DJ David Katz played music. The bar, known as a popular spot for celebrities such as Janet Jackson and Guns N’ Roses, was also frequented by singer Beck and actor James Marsden. They returned on Tuesday after previously being there on Saturday night, accompanied by Jon Hamm for an impromptu performance. Taylor Swift attended her friend Selena Gomez’s after party at The Ned. N’Sync celebrated their VMA reunion with a private dinner at Chef John DeLucie’s new restaurant, Ambra, in the West Village. All five members left the awards show early to enjoy a meal with close friends and team members. Sza was seen having dinner at Carbone, while Diddy celebrated at The Ned Nomad. Diddy transformed the private members-only club into a seductive red-lit setting and even set up a larger performance stage. He hosted a party attended by more than 400 guests, including Mary J. Blige, Quavo, Lil Kim, Saweetie, and Teyana Taylor. Selena Gomez also threw her own party in the same hotel, with Taylor Swift as the main attraction. Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz made an appearance as well.

Meanwhile, Offset’s former Migos group member, Quavo, partied downtown at the newest celeb haunt, the Mulberry. He arrived to the Noilta boîte with security detail fit for the president.
