Wyclef Jean has dance battle, woman takes off swimsuit
When Wyclef Jean electrified the Surf Lodge in Montauk — and engaged in a dance battle with an enthusiastic fan — the audience became so exhilarated that one woman even removed her bathing suit bottoms and twirled them in the air.
“I am a master of 14 instruments. I have been playing since the age of 9. I am the true genius, not Kanye West,” Wyclef proudly proclaimed to the crowd.
The musical sensation delighted the audience with crowd favorites such as “Guantanamera” and “Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill),” along with a special tribute to his former bandmate Lauryn Hill by performing the Fugees’ hit “Killing Me Softly.”
At one point, a person of short stature joined the singer on stage for an exhilarating dance battle.
Wyclef amazed the crowd with a stunning handstand and somersault, receiving a round of applause from his nimble competitor.

During the performance, Wyclef encouraged the audience to shed their jackets and more, and twirl them in the air.
One woman took the suggestion to heart and enthusiastically removed her white swim bottoms, proudly waving them around.
In addition to his own hits, Wyclef had the crowd singing along to covers of songs by Nirvana, Guns N’ Roses, Montell Jordan, and Cyndi Lauper.

A man in the audience perfectly summed up the scene by holding up a whiteboard with the words, “Call 911. Wyclef is killin’ it.”
Also at the hotspot over the weekend, St. Lucia performed, and TikTok star Alix Earle and her boyfriend, NFL player Braxton Berrios, were spotted among the crowd.
