A Place For Everyone Side Quest Guide
The A Place for Everyone side quest is a popular quest in Final Fantasy 16. Players can access it by returning to The Hideaway during the Hunter and the Hunted main quest. If the quest is unavailable, players must continue with the story until the “Speak to Charon” objective appears. Once this happens, Clive can pursue any quests The Hideaway has to offer at that time.
To begin the A Place for Everyone side quest, players must enter The Ale Hall and speak to Kenneth, the Kitchen Head, who is standing behind the bar. This quest is quite similar to the Food for Thought side quest that players will have already completed. However, instead of serving residents in The Ale Hall, players must leave the establishment and deliver the food they are given.
This side quest gives players a short break from combat, while also helping them familiarize themselves with the residents of The Hideaway. To complete the quest, players must deliver three Hearty Meals to the residents who want them. The order in which each meal is delivered does not affect how the side quest plays out, so players are free to complete the deliveries in whatever order they like.
To deliver the first Hearty Meal, players must exit The Ale Hall through the front entrance and travel north. Ignoring the first offshoot leading left, players should proceed toward The Farrows and turn left into The Bunks. Inside The Bunks, players can interact with the almoner to give him a Hearty Meal. The almoner will then explain that he spends most of his time caring for the sick and the wounded, which leaves him very little time to care for himself. Thankfully for him, Kenneth sees that he stays fed.
Returning to The Great Hall and traveling east to The Cells, players will encounter a Gaoler. Upon interacting with him, players can offer him a Hearty Meal, which the Gaoler will thank them for. The Gaoler will then go on to tell players that locking people up and monitoring them can be pretty arduous work, but knowing that what he does will protect others is more than enough to satisfy him.
Returning to The Great Hall and traveling south toward the Entrance, players will encounter a Chocobokeeper standing next to a resting Chocobo. Upon giving her a Hearty Meal, she will thank players before telling them about what tending to Chocobos entails.
Once players have completed all three deliveries, they can return to The Ale Hall and speak to Kenneth to complete the quest. As a reward for their help, Kenneth will give players a Gil Bug, a valuable item that can be traded for Gil.
Final Fantasy 16 is available exclusively for the PlayStation 5. Players can enjoy this exciting side quest and many others as they explore the world of Final Fantasy 16.
