While Avika Gor’s Bollywood debut, “1920: Horrors of the Heart,” remained consistent on its first weekend, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan-starrer “Zara Hats Zara Kids” had a decent fourth weekend at the box office, inching closer to the Rs 80-crore mark in India. Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon-starrer “Adipurush” witnessed a marginal improvement in collections on its second weekend after a steep fall at the box office on weekdays.
Adipurush Struggles to Find Takers
The Om Raut-directed retelling of the Ramayana, “Adipurush,” earned Rs 5.25 crore nett on its second Saturday in all languages, followed by Rs 6 crore nett on Sunday, as per trade reports. The film has managed to accumulate around Rs 274.5 crore nett in 10 days.
Although the film had a massive opening on June 16, minting Rs 86 crore nett at the domestic box office in all languages, its performance has been steadily declining since Monday. “Adipurush” registered its lowest daily collection on Day 8, earning approximately Rs 3.25 crore nett on Friday.
1920: Horrors of the Heart Remains Steady
Krishna Bhatt’s supernatural film “1920: Horrors Of The Heart,” headlined by Avika Gor, earned Rs 5.42 crore in India during its first weekend. The film had a limited release on June 23 but managed to surprise trade analysts by minting Rs 1.48 crore nett on its opening day. The collections shot up by 25 per cent to Rs 1.85 crore nett on Saturday, followed by a 15 per cent increase to Rs 2.08 crore nett on Sunday.
Zara Hats Zara Kids Running Successfully
Laxman Utekar’s romantic comedy “Zara Hats Zara Kids” began its fourth week in cinemas with a collection of Rs 1.35 crore nett on Friday. The film had a successful fourth weekend at the box office, minting Rs 2.25 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 2.88 crore nett on Sunday, taking its total collection to Rs 79 crore nett.
