Avneet Kaur | Avneet Kaur on working with Nawazuddin Siddiqui: ‘The dedication that he has for his work is commendable’
Avneet Kaur, the actress who recently made her Bollywood debut with the romantic comedy film Tiku Weds Sheru, has expressed that she learned valuable lessons in dedication, passion, and being in the moment from her co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The 21-year-old, who started off as a child artist with the 2012 TV serial Sea Earth, said in a statement that she admires the seriousness and dedication that Nawaz sir has for his work.
She further added, “As actors, it is extremely important to be present both on and off the screen. When an actor is on screen, they must be completely focused and not let anything affect them at that point. Nawazuddin is so serious, passionate, and dedicated about his work that he is always present in the moment, giving his 100%. That is something that I have learned from Nawaz sir, and something I’ll carry forward with me in my journey as an actor, no matter how many projects I do.”
Avneet is a popular figure on social media with over 32.9 million followers on Instagram. Directed by Sai Kabir Srivastva, Tiku Weds Sheru is the maiden production of Kangana Ranaut’s production house, Manikarnika Films Production. The film revolves around the journey of a starry-eyed couple who aspire to make it big in Bollywood, as they navigate through the highs and lows of the industry.
The film was released on Prime Video on June 23, and has garnered attention for its heart-warming storyline and the chemistry between the lead actors.

Romantic comedy Tiku Weds Sheru is the maiden production of Kangana Ranaut’s production house, Manikarnika Films Production. Starring Nawazuddin and Avneet as a starry-eyed couple who want to make it big in Bollywood, the film centers around the journey of the couple through the highs and lows of all the worldly chaos and challenges.
Directed by Sai Kabir Srivastva, the film was released on Prime Video on June 23.
