Bethenny Frankel unloads on Harry and Meghan
Bethenny Frankel has characterized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s post-royal life as a “failed attempt.”
Sharing her thoughts on TikTok Tuesday, the former star of “Real Housewives of New York City” expressed sympathy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but also suggested that they have an inflated sense of self-importance.
“How could someone mess up so badly?” she asked in her video about the couple’s life outside the palace.
The Sussexes made the decision to leave royal life in 2020 after stepping down as senior working members of the Firm.
“I almost feel sorry for them because I can’t imagine having so much privilege and letting it all slip away because of being too caught up in your own thoughts,” the reality TV personality said in the clip.
“And thinking that everything you do, say, and want is so fascinating that you should be receiving awards worldwide. Why?”
After leaving the palace, the couple moved to Canada before eventually settling in Montecito, California, in search of privacy.
Their departure from royal life led to several high-profile projects, including a six-part Netflix documentary, a revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey, and Harry’s groundbreaking memoir, “Spare.”
They have only made a few visits to the UK since then.
“How do you manage to do everything wrong?” Frankel added.
The reality star then speculated about what would happen if the couple were to separate, referring to the strained relationship between Harry and his family and Meghan’s ongoing rift with her father, Thomas Markle.
The mother of one continued to express her disbelief, stating, “I’ve never seen a failed attempt like this in my life” when discussing Harry and Meghan’s life in the United States.
“I just can’t imagine going from being a hero to becoming irrelevant like that,” she said. “Having wealth, having opportunities.”
“Disappear for a long time, and stop talking,” she advised, referring to the couple as “grifters.”

Frankel also criticized the attention-grabbing headlines the couple has generated in recent months, including a controversial claim of being involved in a “near catastrophic” car chase with paparazzi in Manhattan in May.
“What is going on?” Frankel wondered. “Just stay quiet for a long time or maybe join a reality show like the Real World, I don’t know.”

“How could someone botch something so badly?” she said in her video of the pair’s life outside of the palace.

“I almost feel badly, like I think I do feel badly, because I can’t imagine having so much at your fingertips and letting it all slip away because of living inside your own head,” the Bravolebrity said in the clip.
“And thinking every single thing that you do and say and want is so fascinating that you should be accepting awards at podiums around the world. Why?”
