Full House’s Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber celebrate Ashley Olsen’s baby
Ashley Olsen’s beloved family from the hit show “Full House” is joyfully celebrating the secret arrival of her son. During their rewatch podcast titled “How Rude, Tanneritos,” Andrea Barber revealed to Jodie Sweetin that the news of their former co-star’s baby has completely astounded her. Sweetin shared in the excitement, exclaiming, “The baby had a baby!” She quickly clarified that she was aware that Olsen is not an actual baby but rather a 37-year-old woman. However, the feeling of seeing the youngest member of their TV family become a parent is truly momentous.
Sweetin, who is 41 years old, acknowledged that Olsen and her husband Louis Eisner will keep their new addition private. Nevertheless, she wanted to extend her congratulations to the couple. “The baby had a baby!” Jodie Sweetin expressed enthusiastically on their rewatch podcast.
Barber was also blown away by the news. “That completely blows my mind,” she said. The duo sent their warm wishes to the former actress, who portrayed Michelle Tanner on the long-running sitcom.
The Olsen twins, Ashley and Mary-Kate, who played Michelle Tanner on the original show, did not reprise their roles for the spinoff series “Fuller House.” They have intentionally remained out of the public eye in recent years, with Ashley successfully concealing her pregnancy until now. The proud parents named their son Otto, and they have chosen to keep their expanding family a private matter.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Ashley and Eisner tied the knot in a private ceremony at their Bel Air, California home. The couple had been close friends before they started dating, and they have maintained a low-profile relationship, making only one red carpet appearance together.
As for Sweetin and Barber, they are both married to their respective partners, Mescal Wasilewski and Jeremy Rytky, and both have two children of their own.

She clarified, “I’m sorry, I know she’s not a baby. She’s a 37-year-old woman, I realize that. But it’s like when the youngest member of your family has a kid. It’s like, ‘Ah, it’s happening!’”
Sweetin, 41, acknowledged that while Olsen and husband Louis Eisner will keep their new addition “private for sure,” she wanted to congratulate the couple nonetheless.
“I want to wish them well,” Sweetin told listeners. “Welcome to motherhood!”
The new mom, as well as twin sister Mary-Kate Olsen, played Michelle Tanner on the eight-season sitcom but did not reprise their role for the “Fuller House” spinoff.

The siblings have stayed mostly out of the spotlight in recent years, with Ashley even managing to keep her pregnancy under wraps this year.
TheFantasyTimes confirmed earlier this month that the fashion designer had secretly given birth to a baby boy.
The little one arrived “a few months ago in New York” and his “ecstatic” parents named him Otto, according to TMZ.
The notoriously private couple have yet to comment on their expanding family.
In January, TheFantasyTimes broke the news that Ashley and Eisner, 35, got married the previous month in their Bel Air, Calif., home.
The duo were longtime friends before they began dating and have only made one red carpet appearance throughout their relationship.
