With the conclusion of the captivating viewing experience of Oshi no Ko, we can now embark on an exciting literary adventure by diving into the manga and unfolding the further story. While it’s obvious that reading the manga might not be as entertaining as watching the vibrant characters on the screen, it’s the best way to uncover the unanswered questions that linger from the anime adaptation.
Where Did Oshi No Ko Season 1 End?
First thing first, studio Dogo Kobo has done a justification for bringing the marvelous world of Oshi no Ko to life. Whether we talk about keeping the originality, soundtracks, use of colors, or the portrayal of characters, the anime adaptation was nothing short of perfection. So, it would be an unnecessary effort to go through the manga from the very first chapter, and you can easily skip the chapters and story arcs that have already been adopted in the anime adaptation. If you have watched all eleven episodes of the series, then you have already covered the Prologue arc, Show Business arc, Dating Reality Show arc, and The First Concert arc of the series.
All these arcs collectively covered the story from Chapters 1 to 40, where we saw the introduction of new characters, the growth of Aqua and Ruby from kids to teenagers, and their enrollment in the entertainment world, all with the motivation to find their real father. Later the series introduced us to Akane, Mem-Cho, Pieyon, and several other characters, and also saw the growth of B-Komochi, the new sensation in the entertainment world.
From Where To Start Reading The Manga After Season 1?
To continue with the adventures of Oshi no Ko, you have to start reading the manga from chapter 41, titled “Staff Meeting.” Chapter 41 starts the 2.5D Stage Play arc, which is the fifth arc of the series. This arc centers around Aqua’s involvement in the stage play adaptation of the popular manga Tokyo Blade. He joins the cast to uncover his parents’ past. Despite several challenges faced during the project, Aqua’s talent results in a successful play while also progressing in his quest to find his biological father.
After the 2.5D Stage Play arc, Oshi no Ko has several other story arcs to offer, which include the Private arc, The Main Story arc, the Scandal arc, and presently, the series is covering the Movie arc. As of writing this article, 122 chapters of Oshi no Ko have been released. New chapters are released every week with English translations on the official website of Viz Media and Manga Morefor which the Play Store app is also available.
