Katie Holmes is showcasing her confidence and fabulous physique in New York City. The 44-year-old actress, known for her role in “Dawson’s Creek,” proudly displayed her toned abs while out and about on Monday. Opting for a natural look, Holmes went makeup-free and rocked a simple black sports bra, green sweatpants from Alo Yoga, and Adidas sneakers. She completed her outfit with layered gold necklaces, oval hoop earrings, sunglasses, and a spacious black tote bag. Despite appearing a bit downcast, Holmes tied her hair back in a ponytail to beat the heat.
While Holmes prefers to keep her personal life private, she did share some insight into her fitness routine in 2019. “I exercise four times a week. Variety is key, or I get bored,” she told Shape. “I enjoy Spinning, boxing, yoga, and occasionally taking dance classes.” Holmes also revealed that she sometimes works out with her daughter, Suri Cruise, as a way to bond. However, she never forces her to join in if she’s not interested.
Holmes has always prioritized protecting her daughter, especially after Suri grew up in the spotlight due to her famous parents. In an interview with Glamour, Holmes emphasized the importance of shielding Suri from paparazzi. “What has been really important for me with my daughter, because she was so visible at a young age, is I really like to protect her,” she explained. Holmes described her 17-year-old daughter as an incredible person whom she deeply cares for.
It’s worth noting that Holmes shares Suri Cruise with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. Although the mother-daughter duo shares a close bond, Tom reportedly has no involvement in Suri’s life. According to sources, the “Top Gun: Maverick” star, now 61, has not seen his daughter in years. Tom, who also has adopted children Connor and Isabella with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, divorced Holmes in 2011 due to his affiliation with Scientology. While Holmes hasn’t remarried, she has been romantically linked to Jamie Foxx, Emilio Vitolo Jr., and Bobby Wooten III.

She accessorized with layered gold necklaces, oval hoop earrings, sunglasses and an oversized black tote bag.
The actress, who appeared a bit downcast, tied her hair back into a ponytail as she braved the NYC heat.
Although Holmes has tried to keep most of her personal life out of the public eye, the mother of one did give a little insight into how she stays in such great shape in 2019.

While she relies on exercise to clear her mind, it has also helped her bond with lookalike daughter Suri Cruise.
“Sometimes I work out with my daughter. It just depends on the day,” she explained. “We have our routines, and occasionally they overlap. But I don’t force her to work out with me because I know that’s lame.”
Like her mom, Suri — whom Holmes shares with ex Tom Cruise — remains mostly under the radar.
In fact, Holmes admitted in April that she has tried to shield the teen from paparazzi in recent years after she grew up in the spotlight thanks to her famous parents.

“She’s an incredible person,” Holmes said of the 17-year-old.

Although the mother-daughter duo are very close, Tom allegedly has “no part” in Suri’s life.
In March, a source told TheFantasyTimes that the “Top Gun: Maverick” star, 61, has not seen his daughter in years.
Tom, who also shares adopted children Connor and Isabella with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, split from Holmes in 2011 after five years of marriage due to his involvement in Scientology.
While neither of them have remarried, Holmes has since dated Jamie Foxx, Emilio Vitolo Jr., and Bobby Wooten III.
