Prime Video, the streaming service, has announced the release of its new Tamil original series, “Sweet Kaaram Coffee,” featuring renowned actors Madhoo, Lakshmi, and Santhy.
Created by Reshma Ghatala, the eight-episode show tells the captivating story of three women from different generations as they rediscover their love for life and find fulfillment in self-reliance and self-discovery, as stated in a press release.
The series will premiere on July 6 on the streaming platform in Tamil, with dubbed versions available in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The series is directed by filmmakers Bejoy Nambiar, Krishna Marimuthu, and Swathi Raghuraaman.
Aparna Purohit, the head of content at Prime Video India, expressed the streaming service’s commitment to supporting women-led creators, artists, and narratives while providing a diverse range of content options for all customers across different genres, languages, and regions.
