‘Love Island’ star Molly-Mae’s engagement ring from Tommy Fury could be worth $1M
What an astonishing surprise.
Professional boxer Tommy Fury proposed to his long-term girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague after being together for four years. The proposal was nothing short of spectacular, reminiscent of a romantic getaway on the popular reality show “Love Island.”
The couple, both 24 years old, shared a video of the extraordinary proposal on their Instagram accounts, which featured their 7-month-old daughter, Bambi. In the video, Molly-Mae proudly displayed her massive oval-cut diamond engagement ring.
Prior to the proposal, Molly-Mae had posted a clip from Season 5 of “Love Island” in which she predicted her future, playfully referring to herself as “Molly Fury.”
The fans were not only amazed by the couple’s decision to tie the knot but also impressed by the choice of the engagement ring made by Tommy Fury.

“What a stunning ring… and I’m not talking about the ones in the background,” commented one person. Another exclaimed, “The ring is absolutely breathtaking!”
According to Grant Mobley, a diamond expert from the Natural Diamond Council, the value of the impressive 10-carat diamond ring ranges from $750,000 to an astonishing $1 million.
However, jeweler Jessica Flinn shares a different estimate. She believes the diamond weighs closer to 6 carats, appearing larger due to its narrow band and minimalist setting. Set in a yellow gold band, the ring creates a striking contrast that enhances the diamond’s brilliance. Jessica Flinn values the ring at approximately $642,000.
Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, suggests that the ring’s setting allows maximum light to hit the diamond, resulting in exceptional brilliance and fire. He estimates the ring to be at least 8 carats and worth a minimum of $250,000, possibly even closer to $350,000.
Considering Tommy Fury’s reported earnings of $2 million from his victorious match against Jake Paul, along with additional pay-per-view earnings, it is safe to assume that their wedding will be just as extravagant as their engagement.
What a bombshell.
Boxer Tommy Fury popped the question to long-term girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague after four years together over the weekend, staging an epic proposal worthy of a “Love Island” getaway.
The stars, both 24, shared video of the epic proposal — which included their 7-month-old daughter, Bambi — and showed off Hague’s enormous oval-cut diamond engagement ring.
The bride-to-be also posted a clip from Season 5 of the British reality show (where the couple met in 2019) in which she predicted the future, writing, “Just call me… Molly Fury.”
While fans were gobsmacked by the pair finally committing to tying the knot, they were also impressed by Fury’s ring choice.

“What a rock .. I’m not talking about the ones in the background,” one person wrote. “The ring is RINGING,” said another.
Indeed, Natural Diamond Council‘s diamond expert Grant Mobley places the value of the enormous 10-carat diamond ring between $750,000 and a whopping $1 million.
However, jeweler Jessica Flinn tells TheFantasyTimes Style she estimates the rock to weigh in at closer to 6 carats, noting that it appears larger thanks to its narrow band and minimalist setting.
“Set in a yellow gold band, this is the perfect combination if you really want to make your diamond pop with the contrasting metal color. Yellow gold is absolutely having a moment right now and seems to be growing in popularity each year,” she says, placing the price of the sparkler at around $642,000.
Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, tells us that the shape of the setting allows for “maximum light [to] hit [the diamond], giving the stone exceptional brilliance and fire.” He believes the ring weighs in at “at least 8 carats” and is worth a quarter of a million dollars at minimum – possibly closer to $350,000.
With the fighter winning a reported $2 million for his victory match against Jake Paul before additional pay-per-view earnings, we’re sure this couple’s wedding will be just as over the top as their engagement.
