Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – Says

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor offers a unique gameplay experience that sets it apart from other open-world games. Rather than encouraging players to revisit familiar locations, the game incentivizes exploration of new areas to progress through the plot. This creates a more linear gameplay experience, which some players may prefer.

To help players navigate the game’s various locations, we’ve put together a guide for one particular mission. This mission involves navigating a series of stone pillars in order to reach an underground area where players will encounter the Skriton.

Starting from the Monastery Walls Meditation Point, players should turn left and follow along the left wall until they reach a series of stone pillars sticking out of the sand. Climb onto the first pillar from the platform below, then jump from this pillar to grapple onto the second one. From here, players can safely jump over to the third pillar.

At this point, players will see a rundown structure with an entrance. To the right of this entrance will be a fallen pillar, which players can either enter the structure to reach or jump to from the third pillar. Jump along the fallen pillars until there are no more to jump onto, then look for a tall pillar that players cannot reach the top of from where they are. Behind this pillar is another fallen one, and players should aim to get to the left side of this fallen pillar.

Jump from the fallen pillar players are on and make a sprint to get to the next one. Once they hit the sand, players will be on the clock for the underground Skriton giving chase. They should turn around and use the Force to open the large metal door, then run under this door to safety.

After this, players should head straight and pass between several alien-designed panels. Here, they will encounter two troopers packing flamethrowers, who can be quite formidable. Players should use stims to heal up if they get low on health and wait until the troopers need to reload before rushing in with their lightsabers. They should also use the Force to hinder one of the troopers before taking out the other.

Further along the stone path, players will come to a long beam they can jump and grab onto. Using this beam, they can climb out of the hallway they are in and outside. They will see a large number of troopers below them as they make their climb. Once they reach the other side, they will find a platform with a Meditation Point to rest and recover their stims.

Players will then need to head through a doorway and take the left turn. They should jump before reaching the drop at the end of this hallway and grab onto the climb point on the other side of it. From here, players should keep climbing to the right until they see a ledge below them. Climbing down onto the ledge and moving right will trigger a cutscene involving blaster fire shooting the wall they are on.

This will lead into a quick time event when players are grabbed by a trooper with a jetpack. After this event, they will fall to the ground and begin sliding down a slope, which will take them straight into a large room where they will face a sizable group of troopers. After dealing with them, players will face a series of droids that can take a lot of damage.

Throughout the rest of the mission, players will be aided by Get, who will travel along with them. They will encounter various obstacles along the way, but by following this guide, they should be able to progress through the mission with ease.

While a lot of games encourage exploration and providing missions in and to places players have been many times before, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor uses missions to push players towards newer areas to progress the game’s plot.

This makes the game feel less like an open-world game and more like a series of linear levels that you can revisit at any time. Players not bothered by collectibles or side adventures may never return to most locations in the game a second time.

That is where you will need to get to. Jump from the fallen pillar you are on and make a sprint to get to this next one. The moment you hit the sand, you are on the clock for the underground Skriton giving chase. Turn around and use the Force to open the large metal door. Star Wars Jedi Ceres Contact Split in path

Run straight, and you will see a split in the path. On the left is a ramp and on the right are some stairs. Take the right path up the stairs. Keep going up these stairs, and you will come to a grapple point. Jump and grapple, then run to the left along the wall. You will see another grapple point at the end of the wall run. Grapple to it and wall run to the right. Jump at the end to the next platform. The floor will shift, and you’ll start sliding down. The Skriton will be waiting at the bottom, and you will need to jump over it to get to the platform on the other side.

Star Wars Jedi Ceres Contact skriton

From this platform, turn to face the slide you came down. Look to your left, and you will see a tall pillar. You can grapple up to this pillar from the opposite side. You will need to run on the sand and look up for the grapple prompt. As you climb up, the Skriton will hit the pillar. When you cannot go any higher, you will see a bar directly below you. Drop down to hang from this bar. Swing forward and jump to the ledge straight ahead of you. There will be enemies here to dispatch. Once the enemies have been dealt with, head back to the ledge you came from.

Coming from this ledge, you will see some marks on the wall to your right. Jump on these markings, moving forward to wall run to reach the ledge out of this area. You will see the blue light of the Meditation Point you started at. Head toward this direction, and you will see a rope you can drop to make a shortcut. From this point, look left and then head straight. You will pass between several alien-designed panels. There will be two troopers packing flamethrowers here. Do not underestimate them; these two can be quite formidable.

Use stims to heal up if ever you get low on health, you will be able to rest up shortly to recover any stims you use. Do not rush in with just your lightsabers; get some distance and wait until they need to reload. Use the Force to hinder one of them when you advance to take out the other. Once one of them is dealt with, it will be easier to finish off the other. Make your way along the stone path. At the end of the path will be a long beam you can jump and grab onto. You can use this beam to climb out of the hallway you are in and outside. You will see a large number of troopers below you as you make your climb.

Climb all the way to the other side, and there will be a platform you can jump down to. On this platform will be a Meditation Point to rest and recover your stims. If you gained any skill points, now would be the time to allocate them.

Star Wars Jedi Ceres Contact path upwards

You will be looking over a ledge from this Mediation Point. Turn around, and you will see some steps and an open doorway above them. Head through this doorway and take the left turn. There is a drop at the end of this hallway; jump before reaching this drop and grab onto the climb point on the other side of it. Make your way down and around the corner of this climb point. Keep climbing to the right, and you will see a ledge below you. Climb down onto it and start moving right.

This will trigger a cutscene involving blaster fire shooting the wall you are on. This will lead into a quick time event when you are grabbed by a trooper with a jetpack. After this quick time event, you will fall to the ground and begin sliding down a slope. This will take you straight into a large room where you will face a sizeable group of troopers. After dealing with them, another cutscene will play where the troopers relentlessly apply suppressive fire against Cal. This is when Cere’s Contact, Merrin, will make her appearance and begin to fight alongside you. The cutscene will play out with her dealing with the remaining troopers herself.

After this cutscene has concluded a door will open with more troopers to fight against. After dealing with this group, another group of them will come from the wall on the other end of the room. Once all the troopers have been dealt with, you will be attacked by some droids that will come breaking through the wall. Cere’s Contact will aid you by binding the droids, allowing you to unleash as much damage as you can into the droid before the binding wears off. These droids can take a lot of damage, which can make fighting against them feel longer than the previous groups of enemies.

Star Wars Jedi Ceres Contact crate

You will progress through the rest of this mission with Get it traveling along with you. There will be nothing to grapple on to in the current room, but after some dialog with Merrin, she will create one for you to use. Grapple up to this point and turn to your right. You will see she has already teleported herself up here. Head toward her and take the left turn after some statues. Run to the wall on the opposite end, and you will see it is heavily marked with scratches. From the right side of this wall, run to the left side and jump.

This will get you high enough to grab onto the ledge above you. Turn Left, and you will see Merrin again. To her right will be a large structure, and to the right of this structure will be a crate that you can move around using the Force. Push the crate away from the path you came, and it will be moved onto a slope and begin to slide down. Follow the crate all the way down to the lowest part of the area. Here, you will find 2 large statues, and between these statues, two walls. Push the crate you brought down between these walls and to the other side.

Then, push it towards the wall on the left side. You can now jump on the crate and use it to reach the ledge of the left wall. Climbing out will lead you out of the area. Head right along the hallway you are in. At the end of this hallway will be a break in the left wall. After some dialog, you will go through it and deal with the large group of troopers you passed over earlier. After this fight, you will have completed the current part of the game and be able to move onto the following object, “Reach The Spamels.”
