The Make It Rain Campaign returns June 30th
Out of all the seasonal events in FFXIV, the Make It Rain Campaign stands out due to its unique mechanics, and it’s finally returning. The campaign starts on June 30th and lasts until July 17th, offering players a new and exciting reward.
Make It Rain Event and Rewards
Make It Rain events revolve around storylines related to the Gold Saucer. This year, the quest begins with the tagline “Kipih Jakkya needs help penning her next hit article,” so players may get a chance to interview Godbert.
During the event, Manderville Gold Saucer Point rewards increase by 50%. Combine this with the Free Company buff Jackpot II to earn a significant amount of MGP. It’s a great time to grind for mounts like Typhon, Fenrir, Korpokkur Kolossus, Archon Throne, Pod 602, Sabotender Emperador, and Blackjack, as well as emotes, hairstyles, and glamour items. Additionally, Gold Saucer minigame furnishings are available at reduced MGP prices during the event.
While the coveted /showleft and /showright emotes are not available this year, players can obtain the Wind-up Godbert, a great addition to any collection.
After years of appearing in various quests and events, including the Starlight seasonal events and even the Main Scenario, players can finally own a toy version of FFXIV’s perfect Manderville man. The Twelve only know what kind of idle animation he’ll have. Previous event items will also be available, and there are several MGP exclusive minions to collect.
Get ready to obtain your very own mini Godbert and complete the Gold Saucer challenge logs. There’s no better time than during the Make It Rain Campaign.
Of all the FFXIV seasonal events, the Make It Rain Campaign is different from the others mechanics wise, and it’s about time for it to return. The Make it Rain Campaign returns starting June 30 until July 17 with a fun new reward.

During the event’s duration, Manderville Gold Saucer Point rewards all increase by 50%. Stack that with the Free Company buff Jackpot II and make some serious MGP off the event. It’s the perfect time to grind for the Typhon, Fenrir, Korpokkur Kolossus, Archon Throne, Pod 602, Sabotender Emperador, or Blackjack mount, as well as ensuring you have all the emotes, hairstyles, and glamour items you wanted from the Saucer but haven’t gotten to yet. The housing furnishings for the Gold Saucer minigames are also discounted off their MGP prices during this time.
When it comes to the event specific awards, we don’t get the absolute majesty of the /showleft and /showright emotes this year, but we do get something else great: the Wind-up Godbert.
