The director said he was only 19 when he watched Michael Bay’s first live-action Transformers movie and he just directed its seventh in the series. For the sequel, Caple wants to bring more of what he couldn’t in this first of the new trilogy. He wanted more Predacons, but he only had so much he could do in Rise of the Beasts. “I can’t say the next thing because I might actually do it for the next movie,” he said after mentioning more Predacons (via Geek Culture). However, Caple also said he wanted to bring back Megatron to the movies as well. However, he hinted that Megatron is still in the “Bay-verse,” but he has a lot of dreams to bring more from the world of G1.
